Sci-Fi Fun

Donovan & Juan hit the Lancaster Science Factory today. We rocked the
place for 3.5 hours and took in a lot of cool experiments. Here are a 

few highlights.

Don Juan Weekend

Donovan & Juan busted out some old toys and came up with these
sculptures this morning. Juan in blue, Donovan in red. Table surface
added to the shots for retro interest.

Playing With Products

Donovan here: Got hired to shoot this and a bunch of other natural
beauty products last Friday. We shot it ala Apple/Mac product photos
on plexiglass for natural reflection. No photoshop here folks.

Soups on!

Lately, I have been making soups. On Sunday I conjured up this delectable one. Thanks to mom for the newest kitchen device... cuisine art stick mixer.

weekend fun

This was an eventful weekend for me. I attended my friend J.J's house show, with included three performers. The last act was an a cappella that rearranged Bulgarian originals... very interesting!  It's very typical to attend these shows and run into many neighborhood friends of the Green Line.

What a Crock...

This is the "hole" in front of the cafe that someone claims they fell into, thereby causing them to break their wrist and eventually develop long-term "carpool" tunnel syndrome. The insurance company is going to settle it, and the lawyer told me she's asking for $200,000, which as he said is "ridiculously high and is also par for the course."

As you can see, the depression is less than an inch deep, it's about 3" wide at its widest point.

Being a kid!

It was our first major snow of the season. I was on my way home from work, and I ran into my friend Jen. I took the liberty of letting go for a bit to relive a childhood past time. Special thanks to my friends' son Grey for the sled. Weeeeeeeee!

Snowy Night in South Philly

Here's a few photos from tonight. I should branch out from my iPhone but it's too easy...

Jennie and I decided to put on our boots and take in the first real snow of the season. We went to Melrose Diner and got desert and tea. The last photo was taken through the window of the diner to the street. I like the way all of the diner lights reflected in the glass as the ambulance passed.... Kind of looks like a double exposure photo.

Fortune Cookie

Last week Salena's class celebrated Chinese New Year. She brought home some fortune cookies. This was mine.
